A brand new school year and we start a new semester of Video Production. In this class you will learn how to take pictures and video and how to make movies. You will be both behind the camera and in front of the lens! (We have to take pictures of somebody.)
Movies are more than just pointing a camera and hoping something happens. You have to plan out what you are going to do by writing a script and drawing a storyboard. You have to consider what camera angles you are going to use and how close up you want the image. You have to plan how to record the sound, what extra sound effects you will need, how the light affects your image. You have to take your video and edit out all the parts you don't want, put in the sound effects and narration, add the title to the front and credits to the end, and then add music for a sound track. All of these are part of a good quality video.
What do you think you will be creating movies about for the class? Do you have any questions or worries about the class?

i think i wil be creating movies about cars or robots, and i dont have any questions or worriers about the class.
I think we will be creating movies about our family, or about space , or the olimpics , or interviews about our grandparents past.

i think in this class i will be making a video about something funny bhecause i like funny things espaciallly when it happens to people . i dont know why but it is just funny ..and probly a scary movie because i like somthing scary .. and also scarying peolpe
I don't know yet i'm hoping I have an idea by the assiment is assined I really want to do good in your class.
I do have some fear's I'm fearing that I might do a horible job and that I will fail but I'll give it my best

In this class we will learn about how to take pictures and video and the usage of making videos. we will be in front of a camera but also behind.when planning a movie you must write and a script planning your movie. when doing a movie I must know how to angle a camera lens and how to record sounds. we can edit out parts to videos. i need to put sounds a some narriation add a title and credits. this will make a good video.
i think this year is gonna be fun becaouse we get to make movies and we get to bring our own video camras and make the movie he lets us take as much time as we need and it is gonna be the best year we ever had sens it's our last year in midlle school thank you mr.geasland for helppen us out

In this class we will be making movies that will intrest people.More like funny,scary and more. Im worrie to be in the cammra.Well yup i really like intresting movise because you really get into the movie. So i would think that other people watching interesting video/movie. They would be more into the movie.
my wories are if what kind of videos are we going to do? cause i think that the scary,funny and intresting videos are the best... and i wonder if we are going to do the videos with a partner??.
